The south end is more secluded, and there are actually some trees providing natural shade (rare for South Maui beaches). Two access points, but the second one further south leads to the quieter section - look for the blue 'shoreline access' sign between mansion driveways. Only a few shoulder parking spots available, so arrive before 10am. Bring your own water since there are just honey buckets, no facilities.
