A working goat dairy on the slopes of Haleakala on Omaopio Road in Kula where you can feed baby goats, tour the farm, and taste incredible artisan goat cheeses. The 'Evening Chores' tour lets you actually milk the goats and help round them up - it's wholesome, hilarious (goats are funny), and a completely different side of Maui upcountry.
The cheeses they produce are served at top restaurants across the island, and the on-site cheese flights let you sample everything from plain chevre to truffle-infused varieties. Don't miss the baby goat experience where you can actually hold week-old kids. Kids absolutely love this place, but honestly, so do adults who've had one too many beach days.
💡 Insider Tip
Book the 'Evening Chores & Milking Tour' over the basic casual tour for more hands-on interaction. Add the cheese flight and charcuterie board afterward - it's the perfect way to wind down. The truffles make great travel-friendly souvenirs.
