This is hands-down one of the most stunning beaches you'll ever see — deep red cinder sand curves around turquoise water like something from another planet. The crimson sand against that bright blue water and green cliffs is almost too vivid to believe.
Getting there is half the adventure: park between the school and Hana Ball Park, then take the narrow cliff trail for about 10 minutes. It's genuinely sketchy in spots with steep drop-offs, so skip it if you're scared of heights or have little kids. But if you can handle it, you'll often have this magical spot to yourself. The coral formations make it perfect for snorkeling too.
💡 Insider Tip
Go through the yellow gate by the school to start the trail. Morning is best when the sun lights up that red sand. Bring snorkel gear — the coral protection makes swimming incredible.
