Three miles of white sand that locals still call the best beach on Maui, though it gets crazy busy thanks to all the resort traffic. The water is crystal clear, but heads up — the entry can be pretty rocky, so water shoes are your friend. Walk north to Black Rock (Pu'u Keka'a) for the real magic: incredible snorkeling with sea turtles (especially early morning), tropical fish, and those famous sunset cliff jumps. Just watch your step on those slippery rocks. The southern end near Whaler's Village buzzes with beachside dining and shopping, while the northern stretch feels more chill.
💡 Insider Tip
Park free at Whaler's Village with any store validation — beach access is right by the food court. Hit Black Rock early morning for the best turtle spotting before crowds arrive and wind picks up.
