Polynesian Cultural Center

North Shore · Oahu

This sprawling 42-acre cultural park on Kamehameha Highway in Laie brings six Pacific Island nations to life through authentic villages staffed by students from Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti, and Tonga. The interactive demonstrations — fire-knife dancing, spear throwing, coconut husking — feel genuine rather than touristy, with the Samoan village being especially entertaining.

The evening show 'Ha: Breath of Life' is absolutely spectacular, featuring over 100 performers in a powerful story told through fire dancing, drumming, and traditional choreography. It's easily Oahu's best cultural show. The all-you-can-eat buffet offers amazing variety and is the perfect way to cap off this immersive North Shore experience that'll have you planning a return visit.
